Wallpaper Sources
OpenWall includes two broad kinds of images: OpenWall-created originals and source-linked images from external platforms or archives. External images may come from sources such as NASA, Wikimedia Commons, Pexels, Unsplash, or publisher media pages. Each wallpaper page should show a source signal so visitors can review the original page.
Source metadata can change or contain mistakes. Before commercial use, redistribution, printing, client work, brand use, or public publishing, verify the license and attribution requirements on the linked source page.
OpenWall Originals
OpenWall Originals are created for OpenWall and are labelled separately from external source images. They are intended for personal wallpaper use. Do not claim an OpenWall Original as your own artwork, sell it as a standalone image pack, or use it in a way that implies endorsement by OpenWall.
Third-Party Rights
Names, landmarks, vehicle brands, game titles, platform names, and source services may belong to their respective owners. OpenWall uses those terms for identification, browsing, source attribution, or search intent. Inclusion on OpenWall does not mean OpenWall owns the underlying third-party rights.
Corrections and Takedowns
If a wallpaper appears incorrectly licensed, misattributed, duplicated, unsuitable, or otherwise problematic, contact OpenWall with the page URL, wallpaper title, source URL, and a short explanation. Valid correction and takedown requests are reviewed manually.
Saved Wallpapers
Saved wallpapers are a browser convenience, not an account, permanent archive, or cloud backup. Clearing browser data may remove local favourites and preferences.
No Warranty
The service is provided as-is while the project is being built and improved. OpenWall does not guarantee that every source label, resolution, availability, or license signal will remain accurate forever. Use your own judgement and verify external source pages before important reuse.
